Savon de Marseille Olive 300g Cube
Celebrate the heritage of Marseille with an authentic Savon de Marseille Olive 300g Cube, handmade by Savonnerie Le Sérail, one of the last traditional soap makers still producing soap in Marseille. Made in copper cauldrons using the traditional Marseille soap making method, this classic green cube is made from vegetable oils, including olive oil, and is naturally fragrance-free.
The distinctive green colour comes from the olive oil base rather than artificial colourants. Firm, long-lasting and wonderfully versatile, this traditional Marseille soap can be used for washing hands and body, as well as for delicate laundry.
Each cube reflects the hands-on nature of traditional French soapmaking. Slightly uneven edges, variations in the surface or imperfect stencilling are not flaws — they are characteristic of a genuinely handmade soap, cut and finished in Marseille.
Made in Marseille, France by Savonnerie Le Sérail and imported by The French Shoppe for Australian customers.
Our lifestyle image features the 300g Olive Cube alongside the Andrée Jardin Pan Brush and the Croll & Denecke Small Natural Sea Sponge. These accessories are sold separately.

A naturally authentic French soap
Traditional Marseille soaps can have a wonderfully imperfect appearance. Slightly rough edges, uneven stencilling and variations in the surface are all natural characteristics of an artisanal soap that has been cut and finished by hand.
As the soap dries and cures, a fine white film may sometimes appear on the surface. This is a natural part of the curing process and does not affect the quality or use of the soap.
Our Savon de Marseille soaps are sold unwrapped, allowing you to see and appreciate the natural character of each traditional soap cube.
Tip: Keep your soap dry between uses. A well-draining soap dish or soap lift will help your Marseille soap last longer.
