Materials Cashmere: This very special wool is produced by a goat smaller than French goats.
This little goat lives in the Himalayan highlands of Ladakh and Tibet. Because the climate there is very harsh, the goats have developed a thick woollen fleece enabling them to withstand -40 degrees. The fibre is one of the finest in the animal kingdom, that is to say 14 to 20 micrometres.
